I love you.
It's not a love that is simply a heightened emotion rising and falling over time and events. Not a love based on physical attraction that gradually fades away. Not a love that demands or even asks to be loved in return.

my love for you is utterly different.
It is patient. It waits in hope that one day it can be fully expressed but has no expectations. my love for you is permanent. It has never faded over time but continues to grow. my love wants your happiness, but knows that happiness is not given, only received. my love hurts when you suffer and is concerned :(, but knows your character is growing through your trials.

In the same moment of time my love for you knows the greatest joy and ecstasy being in your presence and the deepest sorrow and pain from not being fully realized. From the beginning there has been only two possibilities: mutual love between us or being permanently alone.

And so I'll wait in hopes that my love can be fully expressed. 

So that I won’t be permanently alone.
